Morelos:
Beautiful beaches. An offshore reef great for diving and
snorkeling, restaurants and several small inexpensive
hotels. Still a small quiet town.
Playa del Carmen: This place has some of the finest
beaches and coral reefs on the coast. Accommodations range
form five star to rustic. Variety of attractions along
Quinta Avenida walkway, lined with shops, boutiques, bars
and restaurants.
Xcaret: An eco-archeological park, where Maya history
and culture blend into a spectacular natural setting.
You can spend a whole day visiting the aviary, dolphins,
aquarium, butterfly pavilion and museum. You can swim
on the underground river. Several shows during the day.
Puerto Aventuras: About 200 residential developments
where you can get accommodations for the day , week or
month, or stay on one five stars hotel. Marina and big
yacht facilities. Dive center, 18 hole golf course, nautical
museum, shops and restaurants.
Yal-ku: Natural ocean inlet. Perfect for snorkeling,
lots of tropical fish on shallow crystal clear water.

Xpu-Ha: 100 km south of Cancun on 307. Features
beaches and coves surrounded by tropical jungle. Around
200 habitants who practice several forms of meditation
and yoga. Restaurants, snorkeling and catamarans available.
Akumal: Located on the shores of a tranquil bay
with clear, shallow waters and beautiful reefs, perfect
for snorkeling. One of the most important turtle nesting
sites where scientist are running a conservation program.

Chemuyil: Pristine beaches and amazing snorkeling.
Occasionally wild life can be seen wandering out the emerald
green jungle. Known as the most beautiful beach in the
world offers no fancy accommodations and a camping site.
Xel-Ha: A national park considered to be the largest
natural aquarium in the world. Snorkeling heaven, with
caves, cenotes, lagoon to swim with dolphins and a full
range of services including shops and restaurants.
Tulum: The only walled city the Maya ever built
on the Caribbean Coast. Amazing view of the ocean from
the site. Dated from the post classic era contains more
than 60 structures being the most important El Castillo,
The Temple of the Descending God and the Temple of the
Frescoes. One of the main attractions around. In town
there are a few small hotels and a variety of restaurants.
Valladolid: Typical colonial city in the way to
Chichen Itza Ruins. Here you can see how living goes by

Chichen Itza: One of the most important mayan sites.
Founded in AD 445, it was inhabited until AD 1204, when
it was abandoned by unknown reasons. Principal structures
are El Castillo, The Observatory and the temples of the
Warriors. During the spring and fall equinox (March 21st
and Sept 22nd ) thousands of visitors come to witness
the sun cast shadows on the steps of the pyramid creating
the illusion of a snake descending from the building.
